Any documents wished to be used in Taiwan need to be certified by our office before its usage. Please note that our office can only certify the documents which are issued by the organizations in the areas north of Taupo. Any documents which are issued by the organizations south of Taupo, please contact the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Wellington.
Requirements for Document Authentication ：

A.Business Related Documents
1.	A completed application form (must be fill up by the manager or the representative of the company or the department).
2.	Application's proper ID.
3.	The original document which must be endorsed by Notary Public.
4.	Application fee NZ$22. Additional 50% of application fee will be charged for speedy process.
5.	A self addressed courier bag for returning mail.

B.Birth Certificate
1.	A completed application form (If the applicant cannot fill up the form, one of the parents should do it on behalf of the applicant. If the applicant is over 20 years old needs to fill up the application form and sign or an authenticated letter of authorisation is required).
2.	Applicant's proper ID (eg. passport).
3.	Parent's proper ID (eg. passport or Driver's Licence)
4.	The original birth certificate
5.	Application fee NZ$22. Additional 50% of application fee will be charged for speedy process.
6.	A self addressed courier bag for returning mail (optional)
NOTE:
For Birth Certificate authentication, if parents couldn't fill up the form, a power of attorney or letter of authorization should be issued to whom coming to apply.

C.Marriage
1.	A completed application form (If the applicant cannot fill up the form or the application is submitted through an agent, power of attorney authenticated by a notary public is required. If theapplicant is already in Taiwan, the power of attorney must be authenticated by court in Taiwan).
2.	Copy of applicant's passport and spouse's passport.
3.	The original marriage certificate.
4.	Application fee NZ$22. Additional 50% of application fee will be charged for speedy process.
5.	A self addressed courier bag for returning mail (optional).

D.Schooling Related Document
1.	A completed application form. (If the applicant cannot fill up the form or the application is submitted through an agent, power of attorney authenticated by a notary public is required. If the applicat is already in Taiwan, the power of attorney must be authenticated by court in Taiwan)
